POEM: THE SERPENT PATH

The Serpent Path

“I found some old notes going back many years to a time when i was seeking my path, a path i always knew to be there. Over the years i have made many notes and had the thought of making these little notes and thoughts into poems. Here is the first one that is of my very personal journey into Craft, with some up to dates thoughts added too….”

The wheel turns and new times arrive through the gates of destiny.

Old doors clang irreparably shut.

New doors creek and slowly open.

What once was, now no longer is.

What is now, is never to be.

Within the chaos ahead a path intertwined with mine.

A desire.

A change, then never no more.

I dreamed of chaos.

I stood in that labyrinth, that physical labyrinth at midnight and screamed for change in my mundane life.

For deep dark chaos.

A yearning to be taken to the centre, to the darkness, to the desire.

To see what others do not.

To see the hidden.

My hidden was always there in plain sight.

My potions, my healing herbs, my culinarys sitting there on my kitchen shelf side by side with my hexing’s and poisons.

That old, ragged charm over the door, or the worn pouch hung on the tree near the gate. Did you not notice?

Kitchen canisters full of, well not food….

Yet within my healings and spells, a dream of a different future yet untold, took shape.

A shadow, a flickering, a whisper of a way.

A serpent uncoiling.

I was bound to the wrong path, by the false words, the fake hierarchies and the false knowledge.

I knew this.

I desired a way out; I desired truth however dark, that resonated on my soul.

An ancient path that came from before the dawn of human time.

I wanted that which comes from deep within, that which can bind with the without to achieve that perfect balance of dark and light, night and day.

I wanted connection to that deep well of inspiration, that deep dark place within my soul, that source that binds us all not to the Wyrd, but to the complete unknown.

I wanted to stand on the edge of human reality and stir that deep cauldron of truth.

Would i find my place with the energy we know of as the goddess, or would the energy find me?

Would he whom weilded the flaming sword push me and show me the way?

Little did i know at that time, that i had already been found by that force, that energy that was the driving force of all i would come to be.

I wanted to break all the human-set rules, become a part of a soul defining truth that I knew existed. But first I had to know the rules, learn the rules before I could even consider breaking them.

Down, down, down into the dark I journeyed, into the unknown, surrendering, letting go of all I knew.

A solitary journey.

Familiar faces came and went, as I turned away from false priests and prophets.  Yet I surrendered every corner of my life in love and trust and to the deep yearning of my soul.

I saw humanity revealed in a blink of an eye, a creation that knows not its purpose, a carbon footprint echoing briefly upon the shores of time.

I heard the wind whisper long and low and the waves wash over the saddled shores of time at sunset to erase all footprints with just one swift touch.

I felt the serpent awaken.

I waited then and only then for humanity to realise the truth.

The truth I had longed for, searched for and desired.

Deep down, the ‘trait’ within me always knew.

For I was never blind.

I saw the spread, the feast.

The blood on the table laid out before my eyes.

The food of the G-ds.

A painful vision, once seen, never unseen.

I was careful in what I wished for.

In that which I so desired.

Sure and strong and unbending.

I found the chaos, the deep dark chaos.

I found and fought the dragon.

I saw the illusion,

As Mary did.

Both Serpent and Moon at my feet

Dragon and illusion

At last falling into place…

THINK OF ME

Think of me and you think of Mary
Think of Mary and there I am.
Light a candle in the dark
Feel the love
Feel the warmth
Feel the Light.
See me and you see Mary
Touch me and feel her grace.
Gather on the shores
And see with clear vision
The truth that binds us.
Look at me and see Mary
Find her in the darkness and there I shall be

THE FALL THROUGH TIME.

Angel lost; fell through stone
Blood and clay far from home.
Fell to earth through stormy waters,
Rebirthed in water, Leviathan’s daughter.

A million years, a thousand stars,
Dismissed from heaven at the eleventh hour.
A portal of slaughter or man’s salvation,
Demon hunger, a sacrament waiting.

Blood red flesh
Bound as one.
Blood is truth
Under a sun.

A Messenger spoke of truth or dare
Told the tale to those with no fear.
In chambers deep with no rebirth,
Secrets kept by G-d on earth.

A magic hill,
A golden tomb
Forever hidden,
Mankind’s doom.
Beauty stirred
Within a thought,
A test of time,
Battles fought.
Love was lost,
Grail diluted.
A story done
But never ended.

Time is endless
Existence not.
A waking serpent,
A fire to stoke.
A dark knight waiting,
The church’s curse.

Turn around
Turn around
My little child.
Water is wet
Wind is wild.
Those we shall meet
And meet again,
Brothers, Sisters,
Lovers. Friends.

Within a season
Within a time
A purpose known
Yet living a lie.

Stoke the embers
Raise the flame,
Time has come
And come again.
Cycles repeat
And repeat once more,
We are born to death,
Few reborn.
Dark waters spilled
Under a dome,
Within a thought
Dark beauty sought.

Ice and fire
Carry the key.
A sinking land
Eternally.
Those we have loved,
We will love again
As ‘we’ carry the Flame
Again and again.

QUEST TWENTY THREE CONT:

  • ST JOHN’S SAXON CHURCH
  • ROSSLYN CHAPEL SCOTLAND
  • DUNBAR PARISH CHURCH

ST JOHN’S SAXON CHURCH: ESCOMBE NEAR BISHOP AUKLAND: Escomb is situated two miles west of Bishop Auckland in the Wear Valley. The church was built around 675AD with stone probably from the Roman Fort at Binchester and is the oldest church in the country. It was originally thought that the church was an offshoot of one of the local monastries at Whitby of Hartlepool, but this is only one of several possibilities as there are no known written records until 990AD.

The church, as one would expect is small and simple, befitting the time in which it was built. It is set amidst a well kept graveyard with some unusual gravestones in the burial ground with an ancient sundial above the porch entrance.

Once inside, one can tell the church is lovingly looked after; it has a beautiful stillness and peace about it and one can still see a few traces of the medieval painting on the archway entrance to the altar area, although some items such as the shield once prominent upon the wall has sadly not stood the test of time, as befalls many original items once prominent in many churches and some of the original paintwork about the church has also fallen prey to the ravages of time.  Thers is also a very ancient cross behind the altar depicting the ‘Fleur De Lys’ which one can barely make out do to age and earthy time… There were beautiful fresh flowers within the church and a tapistry of Celtic design crafted by local people, set in an alcove on the wall. There was a lovely feeling of peace and some very calming energies here. There was also an interesting phenomona of the greenery outside of the church displaying as a beautiful shade of blue through the church windows, which indeed it should be…

Let Karl explain further in this short video below & show you around to explain the connections to the Neville bloodline.

ESCOMBE SAXON CHURCH

The church is well looked after and well loved, which one can most certainly tell.

DAY THREE: ROSSLYN CHAPEL SCOTLAND: Of course everyone is very familiar with Rosslyn Chapel, (formerly known as the Collegiate Chapel of St Matthew) due to it’s inclusion in popular modern fiction and movies. I had visited the chapel previously yet was very much looking forward to visiting it again. The previous time i had visited, the chapel was hidden behind scaffolding; much renevation work was in progress, but as a bonus we did however get to walk around the actual roof of the chapel along the scaffolding itself – an experience not to be missed! So to see the chapel now in all it’s unfettered splendour was to be a treat indeed.

Home

The chapel has strong connections to the Sinclair family, who have been it’s custodians  over the years and also connections, as one would rightly expect, to the Knight Templars, in particular to the ROS and the Scottish Rite. Rosslyn Chapel was founded on a small hill above Roslin Glen as a Catholic collegiate church (with between four and six ordained canons and two boy choristers) in the mid-15th century. The chapel was founded by William Sinclair, 1st Earl of Caithness of the Scoto-Norman Sinclair family. Rosslyn Chapel is the third Sinclair place of worship at Roslin, the first being in Roslin Castle and the second (whose crumbling buttresses can still be seen today) in what is now Roslin Cemetery. The Neville connection here is that the Sinclairs and the Nevilles have ‘been in bed together’ since the dawn of time!

Some fine examples of the beautiful stone work of the chapel <click on an image to enlarge>

Over the years many secrets and tales of intrigue have been associated with Rosslyn Chapel; tales that connect to the Knight Templars, the FreeMasons, Secret Ceremonies and indeed even to the Holy Grail and The Ark of the Covenent; one can only wonder as to the real truths hidden below the surface…. Sadly most of the sacred objects and artifacts of importance and significance have now been removed from the chapel for safe keeping and to this end the chapel has lost it’s very sacred energy and is sadly no more than a library of codes and hidden knowledge. I was glad to have visited Rosslyn before the items where removed, especially certain items of a KT connection that i was very drawn towards and of which i noticed imediately that they were no longer there; i was glad to have felt those energies that were still there, at that time i visited previously. Interestingly the modern day tours of the Chapel do give out a great deal of  ‘misinformation’ to the public ears, but as we know, those who are meant to know will indeed, in time know.

Note that ‘The Jesus’ is saluting with the Ninasian salute as used within The Priory by it’s members. The Fleur de Lys depicted here is the only one to be found on the outside of the chapel, the photo from within the chapel is a representation of the ‘Raised Degree’

Sadly we unable to take photos inside of the chapel due to an ‘incident’ that happened there, but i was able to take many fine shots of the external architecture. I was glad to have been able to take shots of the interior last time i visited. As a footnote i did sneak one photo i was drawn too, see above….. 😉

DUNBAR PARISH CHURCH:This church is renowned as having been the first collegiate church, in 1342, to have been established in the Lothians. The church was situated on the same site as the present-day parish church, on Queen’s Road just south of Dunbar town centre. The first mention of a church at Dunbar came in 1176 in the Taxatio of Lothian when the church was described as Eclessia de Dunbar. This church, dedicated to St Bega, served the parish as a whole until 1342 and its foundation as a collegiate church. On 21 April 1342, Patrick, 9th Earl of Dunbar was granted by charter, his right to the proprietorship of the church. The Dunbars were no strangers to the patronage of religious establishments, with the foundation of a house of Trinity friars in 1218, and then amonastery of Carmelite monks in 1263, by the 6th and 7th earls respectively. Dunbar Collegiate continued as decreed until it became forfeit to the crown in 1435. For a while the church was ‘enjoyed’ by the  Duke of Albany during the reign of King James 3rd of Scotland, before returning to the Dunbars. In 1483, it, once again, reverted to the crown and stayed that way until the Protestant reformation in 1560.

Sadly the church was totally closed when we were there but we did get some stunning views across the sea as the church is placed on a very commanding position with some very unusual stones and memorials in the graveyard.

The Neville family connection here is the family memorial, but sadly we were unable to investigate further on this occasion. <click on images to enlarge>

Points to Consider:

  • Escombe Church, Raby Castle Chapel and St Andrew’s Church, all have a connection in respect of the Nevilles; they are all tied together.
  • The Sinclairs and the Nevilles have been connected from time immemorial.
  • Just who really are ‘The Nevilles’, where did they come from, why are they so important and what is the purpose of their bloodline?

In Truth…

In blessed darkness will I walk my path with footfalls silent on the earth.

Never alone I wander through an age of eternal night times

Yet fear not my lack of human companionship.

Under heavens starry canopy my becoming of self completes,

For I see the world for what it is

And in acceptance I surrender to the future.

I see the dark and light as one as they become each other,

I see the sun, moon and stars revealed through times illusion

And I see the earth bound in sorrows; secrets forever hidden within the wyrd.

And yet I also see myself; I see my secret beyond the skin,

I feel the truth flowing as blood upon the land

And in truth and being I unravel upon the sands of time.

Those I knew as kin, never were

And those that truly speak come to me through ages past

Whispering the secrets to my existence from their alabaster beds.

I read the signs left hidden by kindred long ago,

I see the glory revealed in echoes of lives that still resonate

Upon the unending shores of time.

Yet is it only I who can truly see their unwritten language of the past,

Who can feel their energy vibrating still with life;

A life which reverberates through my body;

A record left of all times gone and those yet to come?

I tread the path of the guardians, the watchers, the keepers and the Protectors of Light.

I know they watch me; yet leave me be; acceptance.

Yet when the blood finally flows and the rising water cleanses

I too will protect and in my becoming, rise to new heights of understanding.

Watching from the shadows I bide my time

Wearing this cloak of glorious darkness I await my time

When I too will whisper my tale upon  Destiny’s Hill to those whom would sit and listen.

From the beginning to the end…..

For MG 3

Fortunately we still just about, live in a country with a culture where we can all freely have and express our individual opinions about anything and everything; yet at the same time respect our fellow creature’s points of view, even if they conflict with our own. I often see a lot of anger and strong opinions on social media; conflicting viewpoints, with ‘friends’ being ‘unfriended’ from peoples lists, when personal viewpoints are not shared ones. Quarreling about words is of no value and will only have a negative effect on those who listen or read.

In the blink of the universal eye, this does not really matter, social media does not matter, for the true purpose of human existence is yet to be revealed to the many. In future times who is to say what is right and what is wrong, for it is all subjective and relates to given timelines of humanity and current thinking modes. In future times, it matters not one jot who fell out with whom or who agreed with whom or who said what. When one ‘draws’ away from the insular traits of modern humanity, all this bickering and self opinions is revealed as totally pointless in the bigger scheme of things and is proved to be totally ego based. Many view this planet as a  ‘prison planet’ and indeed once one crosses over the threshold of profound knowledge one can see why so.

For MG 4

Many cultures and religions on planet earth worship false prophets and false gods with people choosing to allow their lives and how they live them, to be dictated to them by man-made rules created by those whom wish to keep their followers under control and in total darkness. These people will never know freedom of thought and choice, and sadly do not know they have no freedom of choice in the first place.  Even the so called enlightened ‘spiritual paths’ also provide teachings not to be of truth, often based on man’s misinterpreted mythology; thus they misinform their followers too. But as said, we all still have freedom of choice so it is up to each individual to discover the truths for themselves or not; to believe what they want to believe.

Go tread lightly folks on this precious journey called life, see the unsee-able, look behind the mundane world and question everything, question the reason for everything, all the whys and the wherefores, seek truth out at every turn, even though it may not be where you think it is or what you believe it to be. Truth is not pretty and does not come gift wrapped with a beautiful bow, so keep an open mind, yet neither is it a personal opinion of any self-elevated individual human. Look above and beyond humanity for the answers that really are already inside of us, within our very DNA; for those whom are meant to know, really will in time, know and will awaken.

For MG

Where-ever we are on this planet peace is always to be found within each individual and has nothing to do with the control or illusion of religion or politics. Learn and evolve to become the best you can be, break the barriers of the mind in order to truly grow and to expand your consciousness, it is more than possible. Seek knowledge and personal growth; question everything you are told by those who would profess to know. The illusions of life are starting to collapse and new concepts of truth are coming out into the open and being embraced, so always ask yourselves, why all the lies in the first place? What is it that humanity is not supposed to know and why? All else will then start to fall into place, petty arguments and differences especially will seem pointless. Don’t be ‘mind-controlled’ but be ‘mind-awakened’ and make each step matter; find your own way, in your own way, be individual not ‘one of the crowd’. Do not follow established man-made paths and viewpoints, take a big step out of the glaring light, above and beyond the ‘roar of the crowd’ and try a little bit of quiet shade; you may just be surprised at what you will find there in the shadows…..

That is the thing though; the human species has evolved way beyond the original purpose and intent of its creators. Over time human brains have developed and continue to develop above and beyond the purpose intended, but they dont know what for or where they are heading with this. A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing; one only has to look at how mankind is destroying the planet by greed and consumerism; mankind in these closing decades has not treated this planet well and has allowed greed and the fulfilment of ego to be the ‘be all and end all’ goal. All the carefully created balance of nature now being thrown out of the window. Of course many more human creatures live in the dark than will ever evolve towards the light of full knowledge, of whom and what they really are. Most live in the moment in the glare of the ‘Neon God’ they have created for themselves and have not an inkling of the huge possibilities that could lie ahead. Yet for those with a passion and a yearning for knowledge, those with a deep love and a hankering for the ‘Old Ways’ and for truth, the possibilities for growth within the right hands are endless and boundless.

For MG 5

As a teacher and guide (of Craft) I will always endeavour to guide humanity towards open doors wherein this knowledge lies, but that is all a teacher can do; gentle guidance and encouragement; it is up to each individual, whether or not they choose it, to step over that threshold or not. Knowledge once gained cannot be ‘un-gained’ yet knowledge gained can change one’s way of life and thinking for all times; those things that were once unthinkable become the norm, the thinkable and nothing can and ever will be the same again. I love to teach, love to share and love to experience with students that ‘light bulb’ moment when I know that their lives have been changed for always, above and beyond the norm; it is and always will be a very rewarding experience to share this brand new beginning with folks. Time is marching on and nothing is infinite, everything has a beginning and an end, yet new travellers are always welcome, those seekers of truth, those creatures with a sense of adventure, with a deep thirst for knowledge who wish to walk the road less travelled with us.

Family is above and beyond any earthly blood ties; honouring blood ties of another kind. For those who wish to follow the ‘ways of the blood’, of the original way, the journey is often long and ardarous, with one questioning every aspect of one’s current life and it’s associations. If within my life I can change just one person’s perspective of their reality, if i can cause them to stop and think about the very nature of reality, then I am very happy.  I try and give clues, give pointers and directions for people to follow and to maybe study up on more. In time they may wish to join us in the fold of Priory; to become as one with ‘family’ or they may simply go their own way, forever enlightened. Whatever happens to planet earth in future times, one thing is sure, the species known as humans will survive the coming end times, albeit in numbers much, much less than we are familiar with today and that will be a good thing. Each student is guided by the Elders of the path to a place of safety within the physical and metaphysical realms where temporal doorways do exist to cross through. To those students who have suceeded through the mundane’s constant  tempting of  them not to succeed, the true beauty of reality will at last be revealed.

The Riddle of Life…..

imgp0144-1

I danced with death and I dined on souls
Drank the blood of many a good man.
I laughed with the Lords, made merry with the Ladies
As my years on the planet grew many.
As time and tide slipped quietly by, I saw governments rise and fall.
I saw the comings and goings of many a good King, but I kept me quiet and I kept me hidden and played by the rules? Not I…
I had fun with the fairest, drank deep from the wicked,
I slept under the trees and stars.
My home is where my feet touch the ground, my abode is wherever I am.
I cannot be reasoned; I cannot be fathomed;
Only a few shall know my name; only a few shall dance my dance, ever have the chance to know.
I am the first and I am the last; the rise and the fall, the magician and fool in one.
Let me know you and I’ll let you know me,
But find me first if you can.
And when you’ve found me; pray look again
For I am not who you think I am; I am not where i’m meant to be.
Many have sought me, though few have found me
But of course, I have always known you.
I know your deeds and I know your sins.
I was there at your birth and your death.
I have walked this earth right by your side.
I have heard your cries in battles of old.
I have tasted your blood on my lips.
I have cast my thread around the world to catch me a goodly feast;
The souls of man, the blood of man; always my sacred way.
You know not I; I know you well, for I walk in your dreams every night.
To those who can ‘see’, I will show the way.
But for those who cannot-who cares?
I dwell between the earth and the sky
On the firmament of earthly dreams.
You are never alone; I am always here.
I have been here from the very start.
I am here in this moment in your earth- bound life
And I shall be here until you die.
But I won’t give a dam for I am well beyond that.
I won’t weep on the day that you die.
For I know the truth and I know the lies and I know what is meant to be.
I can ride the tides across all times, for I know where I’m meant to be.
I can see you but can you see me?
Whisper my name and I’ll know,
But I won’t run to you; I will watch and I’ll wait for that moment of perfect time,
When you come to me with a pureness of heart and a mind that’s willing to fly.
Then I will open the doors that are bound so tight, then I will give you the sacred key.
So go sleep the sleep of the innocent lamb but be aware of the wolves nearby.
If you find me and I find you too, we can ride on the waves of time.
I will show you the way and show you the glory,
I will show you the truth of your birth.
But open your heart and open your mind; prove to be good and true.
The ways of the blood are the only way, the only way to be.
Do you catch my drift, do you catch my thread, dare you be who you’re meant to be?
But my children be swift in your very deed, for your time is running out; your fate has already sealed.
So on Destiny’s Hill I will await, I will whisper your name on the winds.
When the rivers flow red and the lamps go out; when the chariots are all aligned;
You will thus know me as I am meant to be, the Walvbane; shepherd and slayer in one;
But by then my friends it will be too late, for the trumpets will have already been heard.
You sealed your fate to your neon gods as you walked away from me,
But fear not the night my goodly souls, you won’t feel a fucking dam thing.
For I dance with death as the tide rides high as your souls I so gladly take.
Your fate I sealed at your time of birth; all swept away on the tides of blood, your chances came and went.
I am the One; I am the All
The first and the last, don’t you see?
I will kiss your lips with the bloodied rose, let you revel in my embrace.
We will dance till dawn, we can dance as one, we can tango the night away.
Then sweet sounds I will sing, as I lullaby you home and you dance to the tune of your death.
I shall soothe you home through day and night, to the end of your human fate.
It’s all been a laugh, it’s all been a scam, it’s all been a deadly game.
Most of you will never know and those that do aren’t telling.
If you fuck with me, I’ll fuck with you, as I raise my glass and empty the vessel, to a wondrous future foretold.
I am the Lord, I am the Light
Come dance, come follow me.

‘The Keeper of Scrolls’

“Solve my riddle if you dare…..”

Prayer to my Watcher

Oh Ancient One; you who has always been with me

Who has constantly watched over me

I know you are with me now

Your power is mighty as the raging sea

As all the elements combined

I desire that energy within me

To uphold your laws and ancient ways

Let those mighty waves of energy inspire me

To cleanse and renew

I ask for your guidance; to show me the way

To uplift my soul

Lead me to the true riches

And renewal for my soul

Allow me the strength to pursue my true goals

May I be rendered free from the mundane world

Wash over me to inspire my earthly life

Banish negativity within me and the harm it causes

Allow me to become strong and true to your ways

Protect my soul and keep me whole

Let me ride the tides of uncertainty with strength and foresight

For in this moment my future does dwell

I am as one with my kin

And honour your truths and all you teach me

One day allow me to walk with you

Guided to that place

I am of you and shall always tread your path;

Our path towards the future stars
